Based on a recommendation from a neighbour we contacted Hi-Connect Solar and they just installed a new 6.3 Kw system at our home. It was a very pleasant experience from start to finish. Ben and Tom are very competent, responsive and easy to deal with.

Initially I was going to proceed with a larger solar company but after speaking with a friend about the cost, I was advised to give Tom a call. After 30 minutes on the phone talking me through my options, I decided to go with Hi-connect, a smaller local business that was highly recommended by another customer. Tom knew his stuff and didn't try to sell me uncessary products. The job went smoothly and in the end I saved $7,000 compared with what the other company was quoting me. The system was different (same size) but more suited to my needs, and the panels and inverter are of better quality (I did some research into this!)

Fantastic service from Ben, Tom and Sam. They were pleasant and very accommodating. I made an error by not telling them that a wood burning stove was being fitted the next day, so the placement of the panels had to change. It added an extra hour on the job but Ben was absolutely fine with it. He would not accept any money for his time.

Tom and Ben have since returned to my house to do some electrical work indoors and again, I was very happy with the quality of their work.

Our experience with Hi-Connect Solar & Electrical has been outstanding. They provided us with our new solar panels and did a fantastic job. Our home was considered a more technical job due to the slope of our roof but Tom, Ben, and the team completed the task with no fuss and to our complete satisfaction. Not only was the job done, but Tom shared his knowledge and experience on how to get the best performance out of our new system. They went over and above to deliver the project very quickly and the communication was excellent with several check in's along the way which meant we knew Tom was ontop of the job. Can’t recommend these guys enough. As someone who didn’t understand solar too well, I found them to be so patient and always available to answer any of my questions.
Their quote was the most thorough quote in comparison to the other companies I also requested quotes from.

With so many solar providers around it was quite hard for us to choose the right company to go with! We knew we wanted to go with a local family run business and we are so glad we found Tom and Ben from Hi connect. Every step from quoting, finance, install and after sales service was second to none.
